Latest News - Introduction of our new product, The Centrix Cable Tracker ("The CCT") is a better option than Digital Depth Encoders (DDE's) currently in the market. 
Centrix is pleased to introduce our latest wireline product the Centrix Cable Tracker (The CCT). The CCT was developed as lightweight and accurate tool to measure depth and line speed of a wireline. The CCT is a much more reliable and powerful tool than Digital Depth Encoders available on the market.
Through the use of a drill rig's existing cable, the CCT replaces the need for an external wireline winch in a wide range of surveying applications.
The system uses a calibrated optical shaft encoder and a HMI/PLC unit to display depth and speed.
The inclusion of a PLC has allowed the incorporation of addtional features that will assist in protection of expensive surveying equipment, improved operator productivity and increased functionality.
The CCT is available for both sale and hire.

Wireline Winches & Cable Tracker – Standard Range
- Most of our clients require wireline winches with a capacity within the range of 1,000 to 3,500 metres. Accordingly, we have five standard models from which to choose.
- We have also designed a Cable Tracking tool we have named "The CCT" which utilises a drill rig's cable to measure line speed and depth without the need for a wireline winch unit. This tool is a better solution than current Digital Depth Encoder's (DDE's) currently available on the market.
- Our standard range comes in both electric and hydraulic drive versions.
- Centrix wireline winches incorporate a number of special features not present in other winches.
- Control features can be programmed into the design to perform specific functions.
- Our team of engineers can also design and build other features into the wireline winch.

Vehicle Fitouts
Logging can be a demanding task and accordingly operator comfort is important to ensure the logging process is undertaken efficiently.
Most of our clients require their logging equipment to resemble a mobile office. Accordingly, the majority of Centrix wireline winch sales also incorporate a vehicle fitout that typically includes:
- A special purpose boom;
- rugged flooring;
- operator seat and desks;
- tool holders, cargo barriers etc.
Traditionally, the Toyota Landcruiser has been the most popular vehicle. However, due to stringent OH&S regulations imposed by mining and exploration companies in Australia, there has been a move towards Mitsubishi Canters and Isuzu Trucks. Centrix has also designed and manufactured components for fitouts of Landrover Discoveries.
Centrix can undertake vehicle fitouts from its premises in Perth, however we also provide kit formats for overseas clients.
