Background
The Centrix Group consists of four trading companies operating from a combined workshop / office facility in Welshpool, Western Australia.
We employ approximately 30 staff and our business emphasis is mechanical and workshop engineering.

Centrix Engineering Pty Ltd
Centrix Engineering is the provider of mechanical engineering services, including consulting engineering, product development and research & development.
Centrix Engineering has successfully developed and markets a range of wireline winch products that are sold throughout Australia and overseas.
Centrix Robotics Pty Ltd
Centrix Robotics was established to focus on the provision of automation and robotic solutions. This extends from the sale of equipment (such as specialised equipment, protective fencing and robot equipment) through to the provision of turn-key solutions to businesses.
Centrix Equipment Pty Ltd
Centrix Equipment is the manufacturing arm of the group that employs our trade staff. The products and services offered by Centrix Equipment are broken down into the following 4 areas:
- Steel wall frames, trusses and chassis for the building & construction industry;
- Traditional workshop engineering services;
- Steel pallet hire; and
- Material handling equipment sales.
Centrix Management Services Pty Ltd
With the Managing Director’s background in business advisory servicing, Centrix Management Services was established to provide management and administration services to external clients as well the other companies within the Centrix Group.

Management
John Miniello CA – Managing Director
John Miniello is a Chartered Accountant with 20 years experience in public practice and commerce. From July 1999 to June 2005, John was a partner in a public accounting practice specialising in all issues affecting Small to Medium Enterprises.
John is a founding director and shareholder of the Centrix Group and resigned from the accountancy practice in June 2005 to take on a full time role at Centrix.
Darryl Althorpe BE – Engineering Manager
Darryl Althorpe has over 30 years experience in engineering. After initial trade qualifications in manufacturing, he resumed his studies, completing a degree in Mechanical Engineering and spent three years in research and development on food industry automation projects.
Darryl then broadened his process automation experience as Engineering Director of the Adept Group for 12 years. Darryl was also a founder of the company Solar Track which developed and manufactures a tracking system unique in the marketplace.
Darryl now heads the engineering team at Centrix, where his diverse plant automation experience and practical approach are central to the company’s capabilities in generating original solutions of the highest quality.
