November 2009 Update

Posted on 9.12.2009

November was another busy month at Centrix as it appears the worst of the Global Financial Crisis is well behind us all here in Western Australia.

Whereas in previous years, December is a period when things slow down, Centrix will have a busy month and will only be closed for the public holidays.

Wireline Winches

We have commenced a fleet upgrade for one of our main clients that involves manufacturing and fitting out 7 vehicles.

As part of our engagement we have designed a new "budget" style winch with less features, thus making it more affordable. This will allow our clients to become more competitive with projects that do not require the same level of sophistication as those projects which require more features in their wireline unit.

Centrix will be working during the entire month of December to ensure the vehicles are delivered in early January 2010.

Steel Wall Framing Division

The Steel Wall Frame division had a busy 2nd half of the month. Centrix was engaged to build wall frames and roof panels for 6 homes with a tight deadline. By working overtime and committing additional resources, we were able to deliver the wall frames in just over 1 week, thereby ensuring our client is able to meet its required completion dates.

Centrix was also engaged to design and build a "curved" style roof panel for an office building. This process involved a little research and development to allow the curved sections to be made from single 15 metre lengths of rolled True Core Coil.  Due to the size of the panels, Centrix has also been engaged to assemble the roof panels for fitting on site. This assembly is expected to be completed by 10 December.

Steel Pallet Hire Division

As another sign that the worst of Global Financial Crisis is behind us, there has been a significant increase in the number of customers hiring our steel pallets.

Our hire stock levels are at record low's and we are in the process of increasing our stock to meet rising demand.
