August and September 2009 were productive at Centrix.
In our Steel Wall Framing Division, we completed a significant commercial project for Auspower EDM. Centrix were on a fairly tight deadline to design and manufacture Steel Wall Frames that needed to be transported to the Eastern States.
The following photo shows a batch of the wall frames being loaded onto a Semi Trailer.

We have also been working with one of our commercial clients producing a large order of roof panels for single person's quarters.
In our last update we announced that we were undertaking research and development on a bracket to be used with our riveted wall framing system.
We are pleased to announce "The Big Fella Bracket" is now complete and a provisional patent has been lodged. The bracket is designed for use with our 90mm rivetted frames in cyclonic areas and we have received some very positive industry interest. The following photo's are of The Big Fella Bracket:

Further information about the Big Fella Bracket will be made available in the near future.
Centrix has recently partnered in a new Joint Venture company called Trimax Homes. Trimax has secured exclusive West Australian rights to use a wall panelling system developed out of New Zealand with the following the two main advantages:
- The panels are designed to withstand significant impact; and
- The build time for the entire home is significantly shortened.
We believe the product will be ideal for residential remote area housing and we have commenced discussions with the Department of Housing.
Centrix has also commenced discussions with various industry parties the marketing of our electro refining (electro winning) equipment. With the World slowly coming out of the GFC and commodity prices on the increase, there is renewed interest in capital projects and it is our intention to become a major supplier of electro refining equipment over the next few years.
Finally, one of our main wireline winch clients is upgrading its fleet of vehicles and Centrix has been contracted to build and fit new wireline units.
Looking forward, we see renewed optimism in business and capital projects appear to be coming out of hibernation. We expect this to translate into significant orders over the coming months.
