July was an active month at Centrix as enquiries and orders continue to grow.
In our automation services division, we have been working with a client on a staged automation programme that we hope to roll out over the next 18 months. Our client intends to invest in a complete automation system as orders for its product to continue to grow. Centrix has been engaged to design, manufacture and install stage one of the automation system.
One of our Oil and Gas contractor clients has requested Centrix to undertake a major overhaul of a large piece of equipment. We expect this project to continue throughout August 2009.
In our Steel wall framing division, Centrix has been engaged to design and manufacture special wall frames and roof panels for a commercial site in a cyclonic area. This has involved bringing together a number of parties to ensure the final product meets the stringent conditions imposed on our client.
Centrix has also been undertaking Research and Development in respect of our steel wall framing division that we anticipate will:
- result in a new product we intend to bring to market;
- reduce building construction times and accordingly reduce costs.
There are also a number of other proposals that are at an advanced stage of being finalised and we are confident these will be finalised and Centrix contracted over the next 2 months.
