Its been a busy April 2009 at Centrix.
Through the Centrix / Goldfields Steel Framing alliance, we have been actively pricing a variety of steel wall frame and roof truss jobs throughout Western Australia. Feedback received to date has been very supportive as builders are keen to develop a working relationship based on our three important fundamentals:
- a competitive price;
- quality product; and
- delivery on time.
Centrix is in the process of finalising the manufacture of a 3,500m electric wireline winch together with Vehicle Fitout (in Kit Form) that is destined for Dubai. In the 3rd week of April, Centrix received an order to manufacture a new electric winch that is destined for Queensland.
In other manufacturing news, Centrix was engaged by an existing client, "Titan Strapping Systems" to manufacture the major components of six strapping machines. Titan was under a strict delivery date and Centrix was able to deliver all its components on time.
Our materials handling equipment division continues to perform solidly despite the Global Financial Crisis. Most of our existing customers continue to hire our range of Cevol Steel Pallets and a number of customers took advantage of our 10% discount offer on all materials handling equipment sold during April 2009.
Looking forward to the immediate future, we are working on an automation proposal for an existing client, we expect our steel wall frame division to continue to build momentum and we are also looking at an equipment safety upgrade for one of our long standing clients.
